Position Summary
The CDL Driver is responsible for driving tractor trailers to safely deliver feed to farms, eggs to retail locations or eggs from commercial grower farms. Drivers will maintain DOT records such as Log Book and vehicle inspection documents. They will interface on a regular basis with customers, contract growers, and/or employees.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Helps drive the company’s Mission, Vision, Values.
Class A (Commercial CDL) w/ excellent driving record (see below)
Endorsed to drive both manual and automatic
Minimum of 21 years of age
At least one year of over the road experience with a DOT certified carrier (preferred)
Professional driving school graduates considered
Provide a ten-year work history and ability to verify the past three years
No more than one moving violation in the past three years (CMV)
No more than one preventable accident in the past three years (CMV)
No alcohol related charges in a personal vehicle in the past ten years
No drug possession convictions in the past seven years
No alcohol or drug related convictions in a commercial motor vehicle
No violent, larceny or drug/alcohol felonies
Possess only one CDL, issued in the state of residence
Pass a DOT physical and drug screen
Meets all other company qualifications
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Operates electric and manual hand jacks.
Loads and unloads egg trailers and operates liftgates.
Must be able to adapt to indoor and outdoor work environments which could include cold, heat. Individual will be exposed to high noise levels.
Must possess the ability to work in agricultural environments, outdoors, retail locations, office, warehouse, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, odor and other environment specific atmospheres.
