Road Trip Snack

Summertime means vacations and road trips. Opt for a heart-healthy and protein-packed snack with these snack jars.

Ingredients

  • 4 large Braswell Family Farms eggs, hard boiled
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika 
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds
  • ½ tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • ½ tablespoon Minced Dried Garlic
  • ½ tablespoon Onion Powder

Directions

  1. Make hard boiled eggs ahead of time and refrigerate.

    1. Place your eggs in a pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch.
    2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from the heat and set aside 8 to 10 minutes.
    3. Drain, cool in ice water and peel.
  2. Combine the seasoning mixture in a small jar and pack.

  3. Pack up hard boiled eggs in a jar, already peeled and place the bundle in the cooler.

  4. When you’re on the road, dig into everything as you wish.
