Peach Oatmeal Muffins

August is Peach Month!

Celebrate one of summer’s gifts, peaches! These peach oatmeal muffins are great for a quick breakfast or mid-morning treat. Thank you to the Georgia Peach Council for the recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Braswell Family Farms egg

  • 6 Peaches

  • 1 1/2 cup Oatmeal

  • 2 cup All-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar

  • 3 teaspoon Baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup Vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup Milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Slice 3 peaches (about 1 cup) and puree in a blender.

  3. Coarsely chop remaining peaches and set aside.

  4. Combine peach puree with remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. Fold in chopped peaches. Spoon into lined muffin tins. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
