Ben Smith

Meet Ben Smith, one of our egg delivery drivers. Ben has been with Braswell Family Farms for almost six years and delivers eggs throughout North Carolina and Virginia. He gained his interest in truck driving from his grandfather, who was a truck driver for 58 years.

A typical day for Ben starts around 4 a.m., but that start time may fluctuate depending on his routes for the day. Aside from the driving aspect, one of the things he enjoys the most about being on the road is the beautiful scenery. Ben also enjoys having the opportunity to interact with our customers.

When not at work, Ben enjoys spending time with his two daughters and classic cars. He especially enjoys his grandfather’s 1972 GMC truck.

If you are wondering how Ben likes his Braswell Family Farms eggs, he will take them scrambled with cheese for breakfast or in a good old chocolate cake.
