Braswell Family Spotlight

Most of our grocery customers know us by our sales manager, Herman Barnes. He diligently meets and builds relationships with each of our key customers, including our friends at Lowes Foods, Food City, Piggly Wiggly and IGA stores.

Herman came to Braswell Family Farms after more than 20 years in the CPG industry. When the sales manager position became available, our Vice President of Sales & Marketing called Herman knowing that he would be a good fit. Herman interviewed and met the team and was sold on the career move to Braswell Family Farms.

When asked what he likes about Braswell, Herman replied that he enjoys the culture of faith and family. He says it differentiates Braswell from any other company. He remarked that it’s a family-owned company that treats you like family.

A fun fact about Herman is that he played college football at Liberty University and has officiated high school football for 23 years. In his free time, you can find Herman golfing or riding his motorcycle.

Herman is known for using his Braswell Family Farms eggs in omelets at large get-togethers. He forms a made-to-order omelet bar that makes everyone happy!
