Most of our grocery customers know us by our sales manager, Herman Barnes. He diligently meets and builds relationships with each of our key customers, including our friends at Lowes Foods, Food City, Piggly Wiggly and IGA stores.

Meet Michael Hawkins, Braswell Family Farms’ shop supervisor. Michael started his role at Braswell 13 years ago as a mechanic before being promoted to lead technician and eventually, supervisor.

Meet Charity Lewis, she is a team leader at our egg processing facility. She has been a team member for 2 years and says her job is “wonderful.”

Introducing Larry Respess, he serves as our security watch at our farm and processing facility. You may be asking, why does an egg farm and processing facility need a security watch? It’s mostly for the health and safety of our birds!

Meet Pam Saunders, you may have heard her voice if you’ve called our corporate office recently. Pam serves as our receptionist and has been a Braswell Family Farms family member since September 9th, 2019.

Meet Nelson Cooper, he serves on our maintenance team and is also an assistant supervisor. Nelson has been with Braswell Family Farms for just one year but he has worked with the Braswell family through other poultry partners since the 1980s.

Meet Kimberlee Smith, our Quality Assurance Technician. Kimberlee has been with Braswell Family Farms for just five months. She passed by our mill in Nashville, NC, Googled our name, saw we were hiring, and the rest is history!

Meet Casey Proctor, our Live Production Intern this summer. Casey is a rising senior at North Carolina State University where she studies Poultry Science.

Meet Bhavisha Gulabrai, our Feed Nutrition Intern this summer. Bhavisha is a rising sophomore at North Carolina State University where she studies Animal Science.

Meet Elvis Ordonez-Antonio. He is responsible for unloading trucks from our carton manufacturer and distributing the cartons to the packing line, ensuring that each line has the amount of cartons they will need for the day.

Introducing Vanessa Cooper, one of Braswell Family Farms’ all-star packers. As a packer, Vanessa removes the egg cartons from the packing line once they are filled with eggs, and places them into cardboard boxes to be sent to our grocery customers across the Mid-Atlantic.

Last Friday, March 29, we celebrated Cheryl Dozier’s retirement as our Compliance Analyst at Braswell Family Farms. We are so thankful for Cheryl’s 20 years of service and dedication!

Meet Jermaine Mills, but many folks call him Frog, a nickname Jermaine’s grandfather gave him that stuck around. Frog is one of egg delivery drivers servicing the Raleigh and southwestern Virginia areas.

Meet Chumany Richardson, our Warehouse Coordinator at our egg processing facility in Nashville, NC. Chumany was promoted to the position after excelling as our feed customer service clerk for three years.

Meet Angela Lynch, better known as “Cookie” by her family and friends. Not only does Cookie serve as our “awesome packer,” she also serves as our very own Eggland’s Best mascot!
